Snow and Ice

Hi there!

Ready for some more pictures? I was thankful today for the accountability of shooting pictures, because honestly, I didn’t really feel like it. I went, I saw, I captured. Thank you for being here!

I went out into my front yard today to see what I could take pictures of. Of course I had to take the expected image of the valley and surrounding mountains.

A little soft, smooth and desaturated. Maybe a little warm. I like it, it’s dreamy

A little blue, and actually most like real life today.

How about a black and white? It’s still pretty muted and not very contrasty. I think these images are prettier much larger.

After seeing the obvious, look what I found!

Frozen puddles!

I happen to LOVE frozen puddles!

Needless to say, the rest of this post is some frozen puddles- some super saturated, some muted, and even some black and white,

I hope you like looking at them as much as I did.

Click on the galleries to see them larger!

I was loving the texture, and “preserved scene” under the glass-like ice

I hope you were able to get a little lost in looking at the frozen puddles. I just love things in nature that change into unexpected things, and look a little different than their norm. A little abstract, but not entirely.

What will I look at next? We shall see!

Thank you for stopping by!
