Engagement Shoot- Michael and Kelsey

As many of you know I’m a portrait photographer. When I started this blog, my goal was to combine the many things I like to do along with my photography. Of course, almost every image on this blog is an image I took, however, I haven’t been blogging my portrait shoots and I’m not sure why.

Today, I’d like to share a couple of photos from my last portrait session. I have been lucky enough to be able to take photos for my family members, and this is one of those times. My cousin, Mike is getting married to his long-time girlfriend, Kelsey. I got together with them and shot some engagement photos!

If you’ll remember, I shared another engagement shoot last year of Ryan and Jill? Well, Ryan is Mike’s brother last summer we celebrated his and Jill’s wedding. This year we get to celebrate Mike and Kelsey’s wedding! I love the two of them, and they’re perfect for each other.

The best thing about going out with family is just how fun and relaxed it is, and how much we all laugh. I really enjoy that time with them. I’m in love with my family, and I am more than happy to get to do a little something to help celebrate these life changing events with them. It’s just cool.

Loved the light through the balloons. Those will be their wedding colors this spring.

I'm in love with some of the textures we found at the harbor.
