Emma- Prom 2021

Good afternoon, on this smokey and hot Sunday.

At the end of the last school year Emma’s school actually had a prom. Not a traditional dance, but an event where all the kids traveled around our valley and had pictures taken and gifts collected at different locations. Everyone was able to dress up and see each other without being enclosed in a facility.

However, one of the kids at her school rented a facility and threw a traditional prom dance, paid for by the attendees. Also a fun experience. Of course this meant Emma would have to buy two different prom dresses. So, that’s what she did. Let me tell you, she looked amazing, and of course I took a gazillion pictures of her and her friends.

Here are the pictures of both proms. You’re welcome!

Enjoy:

I love how each season brings a new backdrop in at the ranch.

Next up is Emma and Josh, who went together to the private prom. Emma and Josh have been buddies since the seventh grade. He’s such a sweetheart, and the two of them together had me laughing through the whole shoot. Again, this was a quickie photo shoot, and full of wind, which is par for the course here in the Carson Valley. The two of them together, reminded me that it is always a plus to go to prom as friends where you can relax and just have a really fun time.

They decided to go for the traditional flower exchange, which was adorable.

Crackin’ themselves up while giving me the traditional “prom poses.”

I actually preferred the “not so traditional” ones:

I hope you enjoyed the galleries! Thanks for stopping by!

I’ll see you soon!

Just a girl, on a journey. Thankful for love, thankful for friends and family, and thankful for forgiveness. Full of passion, conviction and hope.
