So, Here we are! All of us sitting at home becoming stir crazy!
I’ve really had a great time watching everyone’s Instagram stories over the last several days. I feel like the majority of the world is losing their minds- in the best way we could possibly do it. I actually haven’t laughed this hard at people’s posts in a very long time.
It’s true that the world is in an historically hard time right now, but I can’t help seeing how it is bringing us all together. People from all different countries are loving and comforting each other. We are all praying for each other, and hoping for us all to have good things, good health… and toilet paper.
I actually have friends in South Korea and India that I met through a language program called HelloTalk. It’s amazing to be able to hear first hand what’s going on in those countries during these trying times. It also gives me more people to worry about. However, the worry is worth the friendships.
I actually just wanted to stop by and say, “Hello.” I wanted to tell you I’m here and none of us are alone. I’m thinking about you, and I appreciate you always coming back to see what’s here. I’ve actually been working and can’t wait to show you what’s been going on here.
I also really wanted to break the ice between us, because it’s been so long since I wrote. I miss it and am wanting to get back to it. You know how it feels when you haven’t shown up for a while and the longer it goes, the harder it gets to start again. This is me, starting again.
Right now, let’s just remember that life could always get so much worse, and I’d like to give you the hope that it can also get a whole heck of a lot better.
Sending everyone big overpowering hugs (Just because that’s usually how I do)!
Stay strong, healthy, warm, and positive. I’ll try to do the same. ❤
I really loved selfless intent with which you wrote this post. I appreciate the goodness of your thoughts and your genuine concern. It’s rather ironic don’t you think that we are forced to be caged inside our own homes while the otherwise caged birds fly freely outside. Perhaps that is nature’s way of teaching us something so valuable in such a subtle way or perhaps we need to close the doors on the outter world in order to connect with the universe that breathes within us. Thanks for sharing such a glorious post! What are you up to during this period of self-isolation? Also according to your convenience please do read some of my writings would love to know what you think about them. 😊 Take care!
I agree with your word. we are not alone. Thanks a lot
