Today is one of those days. I see it! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! I just counted 76 boxes. That’s right 76 boxes until I don’t have anymore boxes to unpack!

Things are looking like a house in here, and I cannot wait to start posting some before and afters of all the rooms. Don’t get me wrong, there is still so much to do, but it is becoming more and more livable everyday.

I’m unpacking all my crafting supplies and photography boxes, and I can’t even express how excited it makes me to see all my stuff! Most of it has been packed away for two years! My heart and mind are being inspired again and I feel like something inside me is waking up!

I’m really looking forward to getting y’all back on line with the blog and regular posts about family, art, food, and projects! I’ve been so consumed with everything here. Let me tell you, renovating a home, raising a 12 year old, entertaining several house guests every month, and keeping 10 acres under control has had me way over my head in work.

But it’s happening, I’m settling into my new life here in the Carson Valley! I can actually see my real life right around the corner!

I miss sitting around and watching light and capturing memories.

I can’t wait to buy new back drops! I threw my old ones away during the move. I miss lighting and photo shoots! I miss making cards and books with my photography, and I’m sick of seeing these cell phone images of everything.

I miss watching the most. When you watch life as a photographer, it’s hard to see when your mind is full of crazy tasks! 

I’m reminded this week of all the life I have. I am remembering another side of me that I can’t wait to start nurturing again!
