Here are some fabulous and beautiful ideas for your weekend browsing!
Go bake! Go Paint! Go sit, and read a wonderful book! Whatever you do this weekend, be inspired!
I was looking at a couple of cookbooks on Amazon and I ran across this beauty. When I tabbed on the photos, I’m sure my heart skipped a beat. They took me back to one of my other lives when I was married with one baby and liked reading cookbooks all day. It reminded me of a feeling I hadn’t felt in a long time. Check it out here.
This pillow is from the new Martha Stewart, Living March 2015, issue. It’s from an article about embroidering over pretty fabrics to enhance their design. In fact it’s about cutting out the, “I don’t know what to embroider” stage of the craft. there are several beautiful examples and ideas that really made me want to give this a try. We can all embroider, right?
This one is really close to home for me. I have a chip in the paint behind my master bathroom mirror. It’s just too small of a spot to replace the entire huge mirror for. So, I have the idea to frame out the mirror. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time and I think it’s about that time. Image found on Houzz.
Next on my list is to make a new ottoman to replace my coffee table. I’m so tired of my existing table. It’s really old and I’ve painted it twice. Augh, I don’t like it… This, I do like! The lovely little blue tufted babies. I’ve posted one before, perhaps it’s just time to get it done!
Lastly, I’m inspired by this image of a beautiful farm house. I don’t need all of this, but I love the look and a baby version would be just fine for me. We have been in this limbo stage for going on 4 months, and I feel like our ranch dreams are slipping away. I wanted to remind myself to keep my eye on the ball, and to not give up on our big, long term plans.
Just a girl, on a journey. Thankful for love, thankful for friends and family, and thankful for forgiveness. Full of passion, conviction and hope.
