Today I was looking through some of the blogs I follow. I was looking at a blogger’s beautiful Christmas decorations when I saw in the background there was a black and white graphic of Audrey Hepburn. I’ve seen it before but today it stood out because it gave me the idea of turning a couple of Emma’s Halloween pics into graphics. Why not? Right?

It’s fun to just try things out sometimes. If you have an idea, try it. What’s the worst thing that could happen? I may not work, but what if it does? Just do it.

I just pulled this into Photoshop and made a duplicate layer. Then, I put a stamp filter on it and played around with the adjustments. Then, I made a darkness/contrast layer and made a couple of adjustments. Last, I put a levels layer on it and darkened up my blacks. Done.

I think these are fun and would look cool on a large canvas. How cool would it be to actually shoot an image knowing you are going to make it a graphic? Imagine what you would do to get the result you’d want. I love art.
