I just wanted to take a moment out to say goodbye to Maxine. She is one of my sister, Cathy’s girl kitties. She passed away last night and her sweetness will be greatly missed.

She was a lovely, gentle little lady with a giant head of hair.  A timid little angel who slept each night next my sister’s pillow. I’ve heard her little purring through the night when I’ve stayed with my sister and I’ve been hit in the face by her giant fluffy tail.

Over the last week my sister has sent me little videos and pictures of Maxine enjoying the sunshine and rolling on the cool cement ground of my sister’s back yard. She had a wonderful week and enjoyed the time she was spending outside.  It seems she became sick so suddenly, but she was loved for 16 years by one of the best cat mom’s ever. No cat had a sweeter nature, or enjoyed a long shoelace more.

Missy Coyote, we will miss you and my heart is breaking for my sister’s loss.
