It’s Saturday again! This weekend I was lucky and got to spend two whole days just hanging around with Emma at my daughter Amanda’s apartment. Amanda had her wisdom teeth removed on Friday morning and we spent the last two days helping her out and keeping her company. I must have gone through 15, maybe more magazines. I found my biggest inspirations were the paint colors I kept coming across! If you know me you know I’m a little obsessed with painting my house or anything else that doesn’t move. My husband LOVES it! Not.
Anyway, here are the tear sheets that I liked the most today!

Speaking of color! Ok, I’ve decided I want to paint my office white and fill it in with these colors! Or just go to Hawaii! How darling are they?! -Better Homes and Garden Magazine

I’ve been wanting to tile a back splash in our kitchen and I think I’m going to use a white subway tile to do it with! I saw this in a fabulous bakery in Salt Lake City this summer and I’m sold! It looked great and was met with white washed paneling. Look at the next picture. -HGTV Magazine

I LOVE this paneling and think it would look fantastic up against the white subway tile. Yes? -HGTV Magazine

This one is a project. Steve’s office has a large low ceiling wall that is empty. I think this framed map idea would be awesome! I think black frames would be better for his office though, right? -HGTV magazine

My last tear is from Pier1 imports. I saw these fabulous little plates with painted fruits on them when I was looking on-line. That day, I went and bought them! They are beautiful and I thought they’d be wonderful for fall. It’s really hard for me to find blue and green tableware for the fall and winter holidays so I was stoked to find these. I’m totally going to use this ad as inspiration to set my table for Thanksgiving.
Thanks for checking out my inspiration for the week! What inspires you? Where do you get your big ideas?
I get a lot of ideas from any of the Sommerset Studio Magazines. Great post.
Oh my gosh! I LOVE those magazines! I have one right now and I DO NOT tear the pages out of them because everything needs to be saved in that magazine. oxoxo
