Back to Jill and Ryan’s wedding and this time it’s all about the people. I am seriously blessed because when I was a small child my parents were divorced. I know, that’s not the blessing, stay with me here. The blessing is that I have two full amazing families. My mom’s family and my dad’s family are both a blast. I am surrounded by fantastic people in my life. My husband said, while sitting next to me at the wedding this past saturday, that I have some really cool people in my family. He’s right. I do.
I’m surrounded by artists, creators, educators, dreamers, doers and very clever funny, loving, and forgiving people. Period. It is never a bad time when we are all together, no matter what side of my family I’m with. This weekend I was with my mom’s family and her baby brother, Leo was celebrating the wedding of his eldest son, Ryan. The best part, besides being with everyone and dancing till I couldn’t walk the next day, was being able to take pictures of my peeps! I love something I’ve noticed over the last few events. Most of my family have had one on one photo shoots with me and they trust me to take pictures of them. I always do my best to do right by them photographically and I think they trust me. When my camera is out I get beautiful smiles and no one ever tells me to stop. That’s kinda huge to me.
So, here we are at this fabulous wedding, on the most beautiful day, in this incredible backyard, and the light is reaching the golden hour in no time. I couldn’t get a bad picture of anyone, really. Enjoy!

It was an absolutely wonderful day and certainly one of the best weddings I’ve ever attended. Not only was it perfectly planned and delivered but the people we celebrated with made it for me! oxoxo
