In the Studio, Portfolio, Portraits

Over Spring Break this year my Husband, Steve and I took our youngest daughter, Emma on a road trip. Emma is homeschooled and in her fourth-grade year she has been studying the history of California. We thought it would be fun to drive up the state and show her some of the things she learned about during the school year.

We started in south Orange County and drove to San Francisco. On our second day of the trip we stopped for a snack just before entering Big Sur. As we were exploring the area we found this amazing little place that had the most beautiful light. The fog was rolling in over the coast and created the most wonderful spot. We stayed a while. It wasn’t long before I had to run back to the car for my camera for an impromptu photo shoot.

Here are a few shots of Miss Emma, fourth grader extraordinar.

Just a girl, on a journey. Thankful for love, thankful for friends and family, and thankful for forgiveness. Full of passion, conviction and hope.
